This month we are delighted to have Jason Taylor, the Commercial Manager of Kirklees College in Experts’ Corner.

Jason has a strong commercial background having worked previously as Sales Development Manager with the Yorkshire Post for nearly seven years as well as managing sales teams within prestigious motor organisations BMW and Alfa Romeo. Now in his third year with Kirklees College, he is keen to ensure the ongoing development and growth of companies within the area. As Commercial Manager his focus is to link with local businesses, identifying key employers across Kirklees who he can work in partnership with.  As well as showing the value of working with the college through its many centres across the area – he is also keen to get businesses large and small to be involved with two of Yorkshire’s largest and most exciting developments – a huge new campus at the Waterfront Quarter and a specialist engineering centre on St Andrews Road – both in the heart of Huddersfield.

Please note: this event has limited places and some previous Coffee & Cake events have sold out, so please ensure you book your place online in advance of the event (payment on the door is £7).

“I have been to three events organised by Michelle and each time have been made to feel welcome and part of the event. The atmosphere at Coffee & Cake events is all the above and more. Michelle helps put people together not only to build and develop new or known relationships. She also provides a learning experience for both speakers and audience to learn from talking to each other. It’s definitely not just about the cake.” Mark Longbottom, Design 58

“Networking has been key to building my business and Michelle’s events are always well-attended, relaxed occasions that allow you to develop relationships.” Sarah Gathercole, Mosaic Virtual Office/The Office Fixer
