A background in journalism

Michelle started as a journalist in 2000 and worked for The Guardian, The Independent and The Independent on Sunday newspapers. She became an accomplished sub-editor on news, features and arts and wrote a variety of reviews, features, advertorials and interviews.  

National and regional journalism

After moving to West Yorkshire in 2009, Michelle continued to write for national newspapers and also wrote features for Around Town magazine, author interviews for Excelle Magazine and a monthly column for The Eye (Huddersfield). In June 2012, Michelle took over the editorship of Food & Drink News, a monthly trade magazine for the food and drink industry, which she continues to write for today.
