A trio of global bestselling authors are among those booked for this year’s Huddersfield Literature Festival HLF2013.

Kate Atkinson – Friday 15 March

Whitbread winner for Behind the Scenes at the Museum and bestselling author of the Jackson Brodie detective series, Kate Atkinson will be In Conversation on Friday 15 March at the Conservatory at Greenhead Park, talking about her new novel Life After Life.

Joanne Harris – Saturday 16 March

The author of many bestselling novels, including Chocolat, blueeyedboy, Peaches for Monsieur le Curé and recent short story collection A Cat, a Hat and Piece of String, will be taking part in an In Conversation event at the festival on the evening of Saturday 16 March.

Jodi Picoult – Wednesday 3 April

US bestseller Jodi Picoult will be visiting Huddersfield for a special post-Festival event at the Town Hall on Wednesday 3 April, organised with Kirklees Library Services. The author of My Sister’s Keeper and many other no 1 bestsellers will be talking about her new novel, The Storyteller.
